- Due to the inclement weather, the Twin County Regional Championship Tournament has been rescheduled. The new date is Saturday, 3/27: Twin County Region Tournament; Hackensack High School; Twin County District advancers only.
Twin County Districts
The Junior Spartans had an outstanding performance at the Twin County District Tournament held at Elmwood Park High School on Sunday, February 21st. Of the 29 wrestlers that participated 25 earned medals including 10 gold, 8 silver, and 7 bronze. The following wrestlers earned gold medals: John Cameron, Kyle Cochran, Matt Cooney, Ryan Gass, Bryan Giannantonio, Kyle Jacob, Steven Prado, Jack Schweizer, Matthew Tarrabocchia, and Nicholas Tarrabocchia. Congratulations to all who participated and good luck to those advancing to the Twin County Regional Championship.
Tri County ChampionshipThe Junior Spartans also participated at the Tri-County Championship Tournament held at Randolph High School on Sunday, February 21st. The performance of the 12 wrestlers that participated was outstanding with 8 receiving trophies or medals by placing in the top 8. The following wrestlers earned the top spot on the champion's podium: Kyle Kaiser, Nick Suriano, and Tyler Casamenti. The division champions finished in disappointing 5th place for the tournament having participated without wrestlers in 5 of the 17 weight classes.

Coaches' Corner
Wednesday, Feburary 3rd
The coaches thank all volunteers for their efforts and donations this season and would like to especially thank Lori Mandarino, Dina Cochran, Maria Casey, Tina Walker, Denise Suriano, Carol Daniele, Frank Ciambrone, Bob Bonino, Chris Zovistoski, Jim Criscione, and Scott Pettineo. Please keep up the good work. This an essential element in the success of of our program.
